Tabbed Numbers Compressed

I am working on a list that has tabbed numbers. I cleared all paragraph styles and tracked out the text to be 25. However the tabbed over numbers are still crazy compressed and reading "25 tracking" when they clearly are not. Any ideas? I'm loosing it trying to fix it. TYIA
