Table Cell Alignment Bug?

Hi, I am having difficulties with cells in a table keeping their assigned alignment when they are dragged onto the canvas.

  1. I created a table and assigned alignment for each cell to align the copy vertically centered.
  2. When the table is off the canvas, it aligns correctly.
  3. When I drag the table to the canvas, the vertical alignment does not function as expected. (I expect it to continue to be aligned correctly. ) There are rows that align top or bottom even though they are assigned vertical alignment center.

I'm not sure what I am doing wrong. Any help is appreciated.

It is not in the Cell/Table settings but in the Paragraph settings for the text in the table, look at Paragraph style (or settings for the Paragraph if you did not use styles - you should)

Thank you for your prompt assistance. I really appreciate it. Where do I check this? This is what I have under the cell options. Where do I find the baseline alignment settings?

Check if you applied 'align to baseline grid' to the text in the cells, I'll bet you have 😉

Thank you for your reply.  You are probably correct; I just can't seem to find the align-to-baseline grid setting in the cell settings. Would it be somewhere else? I appreciate your help.

Thank you! I did find it. It is not a file I created, I usually do use paragraph styles.  I appreciate your help. Have a wonderful week!
