Hello All

I'm an experience Indesign user, but I rarely use the "Book" function. I'm working on a very large document (about 400 pages) and have added many separate Indd fiels to my indb file. I created a table of contents, and have been using text anchors to link to pages, but when I export the book to pdf, the links go to the wrong pages.

When I go back into the Indd doc, the links have changed and are wrong in the hyperlink panel. I've done this over and over again--so I know it's not just a mistake.

Any help would be appreciated.

There's no need to do those hyperlinks: when InDesign exports your book, it adds bookmarks so that the TOC is live. Make sure that when you create the TOC you check 'Include book files'. Also, when you export to PDF, check Bookmark, Hyperlink, and Create Tagged PDF.
