Text disappearing randomly

My text is disappearing randomly. Im on a 24" M1 iMac running ID 16.3.2. I have tried checking and unchecking GPU Performance, restarting, uninstalling and reinstalling. Nothing seems to fix the issue. Is there something I'm missing?

Perhaps a workaround:

Do the keyboard shortcut for Recompose All Stories.

Note: There is no menu item for this.

16.3.2 is showing as the most recent release for me. Is there a beta program I need to sign up for to get access to 16.4?

It's on a phased rollout. I would guess it should be available everywhere in the next few days.
