Text Disappears When Placed on image

Can someone help? Text is disappearing when I try to put it on top of an image. Yes, I made sure text wrap is off. Yes I moved it to front. Still disappearing. Even more puzzling, this is happening with some images and not others. I'm stymied.

Hi ,

Thank you for reaching out. I understand you have already ensured that Text wraps it off so can you try one more suggestion shared in this similar discussion and let us know how it goes?

Thanks

Rishabh

Make sure text wrap is turned off for BOTH the frame AND the frame content...

Select text frame, cmd/ctrl + B, check ignore text wrap.

Have all of your images been imported into InDesign using File>Place rather then copying and pasting them in from Photoshop? Are any of the affected images possibly anchored into a text frame rather than being in an independent frame ?
