Text field properties for pdf form created with InDesign

How do I change the properties of a text field (pdf form to complete) using InDesign? It seems that we can only apply the default writing style in the text boxes to be completed. Thanks for your help!

InDesign's form field control is limited.

Access to the full Properties of a field is available in Acrobat, post export.

Also, your question sounds like you are trying to update a pdf form using InDesign, which is not possible.

• You can use InDesign to create an original layout/form, set properties and export to pdf to be filled by users
• You can not open a pdf in InDesign to edit the content or properties
• As @John Mensinger mentionned, you can open the form (if it is not protected) in Acrobat DC to edit the font properties of the fields.

InDesign's form field capabilities are limited.

Your options are either to do most of the work in Acrobat (and repeat each time a change is needed in the form), or to use a 3rd-party InDesign add-on such as my own FormMagic: FormMagic – Id-Extras.com

FormMagic lets you do almost everything in InDesign that you can do in Acrobat.
