Hello all. I am having an issue with text flow formatting that I cannot figure out to me.
I am working on an InDesign project to create a new publication for our organization. I am bringing a four column set of tables (approximately 35 pages, all consistently formatted) into my project. 95 percent of the pages flowed perfectly. However, I have three or four where the imported table centered in the text box and I am unable to figure out how to get it to match the others (the table should go all the way across the page, as the column sizes are manipulated based on content after flow). Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.
Tables position in the text flow according to the paragraph style they are anchored to. Place the cursor so it is flashing alongside the left side of the table, and set the paragraph style/orientation to what you need.
From there, everything you need to adjust the table width etc. should be under Table Styles. Compare the problematic tables with ones that are behaving correctly to spot any differences. Better, create a table style from a 'perfect' table and apply it to all the others.

You just made my day. I didn't even think about that solution. Cheers!
