Text not moving on when chapter heading inserted

I have placed a document of 60,000 words into InDesign and the text has flowed easily over all the pages using master A. My problem is that when I insert a Chapter Heading from Master B on, say, page 6 the rest of the page 6 text doesn't flow on to page 7 which remains at exactly the same point it was before I inserted the Chapter heading. Can someone help me with this, please?

You need to delete the text frame from this page.

Then re-thread the text from the page before to the new Chapter page using the new Master page.
