Stephan

Hello Stephan,

Thank you for reaching out, and I’m sorry to hear about the trouble you're facing with text reflow after the update. I understand how this is impacting your work, and I’m here to help.

Could you please confirm if the version of InDesign you’re using is 19.5 and the details of your operating system?

In the meantime, it may help to reset InDesign’s preferences, as sometimes updates can affect certain settings. You can do this by holding Shift + Ctrl + Alt (Windows) or Shift + Command + Option + Control (Mac) when launching InDesign. This will reset the preferences to default. Reference: Set preferences in Adobe InDesign

Let me know if this helps, and I’ll assist further if needed.

Thank you,

Abhishek Rao

Okay, Indesign is 19.5 and OS is MacOS Sonoma 14.6.1 – all up to the latest version! We take great care about this. I really to not like reset as you suggest because we would be losing all our preferences (which are many) doing this, right?
