The Case of the Disappearing Link

I publish online a document with a video link behind an image. When someone views the document on line they are invited to click on the image and the video automatically appears and plays. But if they elect to download the document as a PDF, the link disappears! Is there anything I can do at this end so that the link can be opened through the PDF as well, or do I have to write a note to say the video is only attainable by not downloading the document?

I appreciate your help.

With thanks,

Larry

Hi,

Do you embed the video in the PDF file?

Something like - https://helpx.adobe.com/indesign/using/movies-sounds.html
