I have a strange problem in the InDesign TOC. The leaders dots and page number in an entry floats to the line above for no apparent reason. There is nothing unusual in the TOC story editor or in the text itself. The dots lengthen or shorten correctly when you edit the text. In the example, Detection Technologies is on page 52 and Driver Assistance Systems Technologies is on page 53, but you can see the leader and page number have 'floated' up.
I actually posted this twice and already received an answer. Yes, I am using styles all the way. The problem was there was an extra space after "...Technologies" in the text in the book. It had a 15pt baseline shift on that space only. It just came through in the generated TOC. Thanks for responding!

We can't tell just by looking at the text; we need more info:
Without examining your document, it looks like there is a baseline shift going on in the last line. You might try this things:
I realize it's been three weeks since you asked your question, and you may have solved it by now. If not, and if nothing here works, I'd be happy to look at it for you. You can PM me the link if you don't want it to be public.

You're welcome, Kevin. Are Kevin and DMVGuy the same person or two different people? I'm glad you found the baseline shift — that's the only thing it could have been!
