Hi!

For the second time I am experiencing problems with the TAB function.

When I use the TAB key, i expect the cursor to move to the position that I have set up - and it does - but, instead of empty space, it leaves behind three 6:ies.   Like this   

666 TEXTEXTEXT

It is impossible to remove the 6:ies.

What shall I do?

Did you inadvertently specify the number six as the leader character?

Sounds like what @Barb Binder writes, we would need to see a screen shot of the tab bar with the text I-beam in the line of text, prefereably with hidden characters visible, if this is not the case.
