Trouble with non-joiner in the 2024 InDesign update

Community Beginner ,

This problem started after updating InDesign to the 2024 version. It shows up in the headings where the second line of a heading has a non-joiner in one of the words. When you break the heading with a forced line break the section after the non-joiner jumps to the front of the line with the paragraph return. Anyone else run into this problem?

What operating system? Can you provide a screen capture which shows the hidden characters and indicate where the problem is occuring?

I won't be able to weigh in because it's could be an issue with setting Arabic. Did it happen in InDesign 2023.? You can have two versions installed in InDesign. Perhaps its a bug in the new version?

It must be a bug in the new version 2024 because when I go back to 2023 all is fine.
