Hello all, I am taking an image and typography course this semester and we are using InDesign. I am logged into my adobe account in the school iMac computer lab and I am also logged in to my adobe account on my laptop. I need to be able to work on projects from home, as well as in the computer lab. However, when I go to the computer lab, the projects on my laptop are not on the iMac. I also looked for a way to save my projects to the cloud, but it seems that there is no option. Is there any way I can access my InDesign projects from both my laptop and iMac? This way I wont have to send my projects back and forth through email, which sometimes changes the image quality. My professor also told me that a past student was able to access her projects from home and at school so I am trying to figure out how they were able to do this.
Do you have a small flash/zip drive? If so you could package your files on your school computer copy the package to your removable drive and open them at home on your laptop.
I would save the entire job on a external drive. Make your own folder that all you InDesign and other original objects you might have created for your project can placed. Than package, like Derek Cross says. This way you will have all the fonts. But if you need to change something on an original file, you imported or created, you might want to have all the originals as well.
