Is it possible to have two types of footnote numbering on the same page?
How?
In addition, while doing this, the numbered ones should be able to follow each other.
For example, when a (*) comes after the number 1, 2, 3, etc., the numbers should continue as 4, 5, 6...
Thanks in advance.

The simple method would be to use both footnotes and endnotes, with the symbol footnotes on each page and the numbered endnotes at the end of the chapter or section.
But otherwise, no, there is no facility to manage two different footnote sets or styles.
I note you tagged this for Scripting; there are some script wizards who might be able to pull this off. 🙂

Firstly, thank you for your reply.
It would be great if there was a script that could do this.
As an alternative solution (in my own work) can we convert the selected footnote to text?

Sorry, my reply was in the completely wrong thread about foot/end notes. 😛
