Type 1 fonts in my document are Adobe subscription fonts - WHY???

Ran prefight on my indesign doc and got flagged for Type 1 fonts. After a little poking around, I realized the font is one I activated through creative cloud. Obvious question: why is Adobe supplying type 1 fonts when they're not being supported in less than a year? Is there any way to know this beforehand?

With the file open, choose Type > Find/Replace Font.

Select one of the fonts you said is reported as Type 1. If what you see is OpenType Type 1, that is NOT a Type 1 font. I just means an OpenType font which uses outlines following the same method as Type 1 fonts.

Me too! I have just changed all the fonts in my books from Type 1 to Adobe Cloud fonts but still get the message that I'm using Type 1 fonts! Come on Adobe, make the transition easy for goodness sake. I pay a lot with my subscription. It is SO confusing. Why not just publish a list of Type 1 fonts we must not use and other Cloud fonts that we can use?
