My InDesign files will not open and say that they are corrupt after I updated to Monterey 12.3.1. Saving isn't even the issue now, I can't even work. I have double checked to make sure all my software is up to date and have restarted my system. The problem continues to persist and I have not found or heard of any workarounds (which frankly is ridiculous to have to do at all).

Where was this file saved to?
On your internal harddisk or on a server or cloud volume?
Also: Could you do an export to IDML?

Same here... indesign unworkable after update to 12.3.1 (Monterey)

I changed the workspace to 'essentials' and this opened the file...
After I did this indesign opened and worked as before...
Just wanted to let you know... Hope it helps for you !
