Unable to Set Custom Page Size and Export PostScript in InDesign Without Printer Installation

InDesign does not allow you to set up a custom page size and export the PostScript unless a printer is installed. The custom size option under File > Print Booklet > Print Settings > Setup > Paper Size is greyed out. The old solution of using a specific link no longer works, as the file (ADPDF9.PPD) is no longer available for download.
