UXP Plugin "frozen" after starting InDesign

I've been asked to post here - as per the title, UXP plugin needs to be turned off / deactivated and then started again in the Creative Cloud App every time InDesign is started. 

 

It's visible in the Plugins menu in the InDesign - and will start - show its window - but is "frozen" - drop down lists do not work, buttons neither - only checkboxes are clickable. 

 

It's like it doesn't communicate with InDesign at the startup - or can't connect to InDesign at startup by itself? 

 

Anyone has any ideas what could be wrong? Or how it should be done properly? Without seeing the code...

Which UXP plugin are you talking about, exactly? Or are you talking about the UXP Developer Tool app?

If it is coming up and you can click the checkboxes, it doesn't sound frozen so much as the is probably a typo in the code that is causing to stop loading/running from that point. Does it look like it is getting to a certain point in the code and nothing from that point is working or showing up, or does it look like it made it through the code completely and just certain things are not working?
