Version 2024 instable

Bonjour à tous,

J'ai installé la mise à jour d'InDesign hier et je n'arrive plus à l'ouvrir ce matin. Il se lance et quitte directement.
Suis-je la seule dans ce cas ?

Are you on a MAC with Ventura as the OS? If so then update your OS to the latest update of Ventura. Don't update to Sonoma as the apps are not yet tested on it and issues are being reported for it.

Je suis sur la dernière version de Ventura. Je n'ai pas accepté la mise à jour Sonoma pour l'instant.
J'ai éteint et ralumé mon ordinateur… cela ne marche toujours pas. Ce qui est bizarre c'est que ça fonctionnait hier.

When updating to the latest version, always keep in addition, the previous version, then you can easily revert if you're having issues with the current version of InDesign..

J'ai conservé l'ancienne version hier avant de tester la nouvelle qui a fonctionnée toute la fin de journée.
Lorsque j'ai vu que la version 2024 ne fonctionnait plus ce matin, j'ai pensé qu'il y avait un conflit entre les deux versions et j'ai donc desinstallé la 2023… finalement cela ne fonctionne plus du tout et je ne peux pas travailler. C'est une catastrophe !

You can use the Adobe Cleaner Tool to ensure you've removed all parts of InDesign before reinstalling it again. But let us know your system details first – which OS version, how much RAM  and how much spare hard disk capicity do you have?

I'm sorry to hear about the issues you're facing with InDesign 2024. To troubleshoot further:

  • Adobe Cleaner Tool: Try using the Adobe Cleaner Tool to ensure a clean uninstallation of InDesign before reinstalling it.

  • Full Disk Access: Give InDesign 2024 full disk access. Navigate to System Settings > Privacy & Security > Full Disk Access. Add Adobe InDesign 2024 from the Applications folder. Reopen InDesign and check if the issue persists.

If the problem continues:

  • Create a New Admin Account: Create a new admin user account on your Mac and check if InDesign works there. This will help determine if the issue is specific to your user account.
