I'm editing an academic book and everytime I copy/paste this link: < https://medium.com/izabel-santos/no-amazonas-alto-e-m%C3%A9dio-rio-negro-registram-mais-de-20-l%C3%ADnguas-ind%C3%ADgenas-dfa8e8d132d2 > or even when I type the entire adress, my Indesign crashes. I have no idea why this is happening and what I can do to solve it.
As I was typing the adress I noticed that Indesign crashes when I arrive at the second part with "%C3%AD"
Can someone please give me an insight?

Hi @bmferreira,
Thank you for reaching out and sorry for the trouble. Would you mind telling us if you're trying to hyperlink this address to the text? Please share the details of your operating system.
Did you try copying and pasting the URL in a file and see if that helps?
I tried Hyperlinking this URL, and it worked fine for me.
We will try our best to help.
Thanks,
Harshika

Hello @HARSHIKA_VERMA ,
Thank you for the fast response. The answer to your first question is no. I was just editing the references of the book and the url adress is inserted within a reference (at photo 1 you can see where this url adress should be inserted, I used a url shortner to avoid the bug). I also tried to copy/paste the url to windows' Notepad, what I usually do when I want to get rid of any original style or event possible bugs, but as I said, even when I try to type the url adress, Indesigh crashes when I get to "%C3%A" ...

Thanks for sharing the info and sorry for the delay in response. Is it possible for you to share the InDesign file with me so that I can check on my end? If yes, please share the file me with over a private message for investigation.
I will try my best to help you.
Thanks,
Harshika
