Why are Adobe Indesign and Photoshop sooooo slow? Best version was CS6. Last 2 years is getting worse and worse.
I'm really already thinking about change, because I'm very frustrated every day. And technical support - I don't even try it anymore, I've been drilled in my PC twice and in the end I had to figure everything out on my own.
With each new update, I pray that it will change.
Notebook PC: i7 (10th), 16 GB RAM, Win10 - updated, clean system.
Maybe - isn't there a problem with the graphics card? I have shared (it didn't matter before).

A few things to consider:
Are you using a third-party application such as a font manager?
How much free disk space do you have?
Have you tried resetting your application preferences?
Have you had your graphics card checked?
If the above doesn't help, consider uninstalling the applications using the Adobe Cleaner Tool and reinstalling them again.

Hi Jiri,
Sorry to hear about your experience. In addition to the suggestions given by Derek, I'd request trying the troubleshooting steps suggested on this community post(https://community.adobe.com/t5/indesign/resolve-slow-performance-and-unexpected-behavior-of-indesign...) in order to improve the performance of the Adobe InDesign.
For Photoshop, you may follow this help article(https://helpx.adobe.com/in/photoshop/kb/optimize-photoshop-cc-performance.html) to optimize the performance. Hope it helps.
Regards,
Ashutosh
