activated fonts don't show up in Indesign

I have fonts for a project in a set in Suitcase. In my document some fonts activate while the others in the document do not. I tried deleting the fonts and reimporting, that didn't work. Then created a new set and importing again, that didn't work. Tried restarting, and that didn't work. Please advise. I'm on deadline.

are you absolutely sure that the document uses the exact same fonts as those in the Suitcase set?

Yes, I am. The set was created for those docs.
