I have a very important document I created with InDesign that needed to be printed in PDF format tonight for an early morning meeting. It is now 2:05 AM my time and I am frustrated. I get the following error that pops up in Notepad and I get a Printing Error in Adobe InDesign.

Any suggestions. Do I need to uninstall all programs and reinstall? I am running the latest cloud version of all Adobe products I have installed.

Hi,

Can you specify the version of the software and the oprating system you are using?

Also, can you include the PDF export settings you are using? (with a screenshot)

At 2 am, things tend to go wrong easily. Please, save (Save As...) all your work and reboot your computer, it does miracles for me sometimes.

Have you tried also to reset your preferences, it helps in a lot of issues.

  1. (Windows) Start InDesign, and then immediately press Shift+Ctrl+Alt. Click Yes when asked if you want to delete preference files. If you don’t see this message, either try again (it’s a timing thing) or move on to manually removing the files.
