I am using Adobe InDesign CS6 and work in an organisation where the software is packed for us. We have issues with links not working when the file is exported to pdf. Is there a patch for this that I can point out IT to?

There may have been a patch in one of the seven later versions. But I never heard of a general "links not working" issue, so it is probably best to tell us

* your exact current version

* the kind of link

* the export options in full

* the effect when trying to use the link

And what operating system are you using. CS6 is almost 8 years old and got its last patch in 2013.

It is totally unsupported under any Mac OS later than 10.10 and Windows 10.

Your exact current version  - Adobe InDesign CS6 8.0.1
The kind of link  - Sharepoint Links to documents or folders and intranet links
the export options in full PDF Interactive:export.jpg

The effect when trying to use the link: When you hover over the link in pdf format itā€™s there, but then unable to find the sharepoint document, folder or intranet page and says 'page not found'. If i then add the links in from pdf edit software it works.

Why are you using interactive PDF? Just export a print PDF and keep the hyperlinks.

And you should note that CS6 is not supported under Windows 10. At some point you're going to get an update that's going to break everything, so be prepared.
