I am running Layout and Design Adobe products (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)- versions 2021 on MacOS 10.14.6 Mojave. We recently added Adobe Asset Link and had to switch over from personal Adobe IDs, to Federated IDs.
Up till now I've been able to choose whether or not I want to keep only the most recent copy of the programs on my system, or keep two if I wish. I work for a fairly large company and I'm wondering if that control will go away once we stop paying for the original personal licenses and only have the Federated ones, (assuming that they are two different licenses that we are paying for and that the former will go away). Also wondering if, once we are solely on Federated, whether we will still have the ability to upgrade when we wish or if we will be dependent on the administrators of the Federated IDs to upgrade our programs when they choose to.
And, I assume that access to our Adobe IDs will go away when the personal accounts go away?

I think this is the wrong place to ask this question. It appears to be an Enterprise question having nothing to do with InDesign specfically. Start with this Admin Guide I found and then ask your system administrator:

Thank you. I'll keep looking. I didn't see any options on the forum for Enterprise or even general Creative Cloud questions.

99% of us in this forum have never heard of the Adobe Asset Link or what an Adobe Federated ID is. Isn't there support available for Enterprise users beyond a forum?

I moved my post to a place on the forum that came up with Enterprise as a tag, so I think I have it in the right place now. I'm a graphic designer. I don't know much about Enterprise. I've hardly ever posted on forums either, so I'm not very good at it. But I imagine that there might be quite a few graphic designers who've used Asset Link if they are using the Adobe Digital Management system. But hopefully I'll get an answer on the other thread. The link you gave me is just about Adobe Asset Link but my question is not about that, but about personal Adobe IDs (controlled by the user) vs Enterprise IDs which are controlled by the company. But it's ok. I'll wait to get an answer on the other thread. I think that one might be more appropriate.
