Adobe InDesign Glyph won't work

Recently when I try to insert Glyphs into text by double clicking it won't work. The only way I can get them to work is by using the Find and Change tool. Did InDesign get rid of double clicking to insert the gylphs? That's going to be a nightmare with some fonts.

Sorry to hear about this. Would you mind sharing version of the OS & InDesign? Is it happening with a specific file or all? Have you tried resetting preferences of Adobe InDesign? You may try that and see if it helps.

**Please note that resetting preferences will remove all the custom settings and InDesign will launch with default settings. You can also take a backup of the folders in case you want to. Location is mentioned in the article.
