Automatic pagenumbers change in the characters 'ss'

When updating from CS6 to CC2020 my automatic pagenumbers suddenly change into 'ss' on every single page. What's the matter??

This is a known bug which has been fixed in the latest version of InDesign i.e. 15.1.1. Update your app and it should work fine
