Hello,
I am currently using Indesign to print specific format leaflets / business cards etc. At the moment I have an .indd file with linked placeholder .ai file and when I want to print multiple projects at once I duplicate the file and relink each one individually, then print it all together through Book.
I was wondering if this could be automated through AppleScript / Automator, where it would work like this:
- Right click the .ai that I wish to link to my .indd template file
- It would automatically relink it in the template file and save it as new .indd file with let's say the name of the ai file
I'm quite new to AppleScript, so couldn't figure it out, but from what I seen on google it might be possible... Any help or guidance would be very appreciated!
