Batch export groups with image to pdf
I have a catalog (with many pages) with pictures and text below it.
Each image with text - in groups.
I want to run the script so that it will save in separate
pdf files, in a certain layer, each group in the document.
I’m asking if who can send me a complet script,
Export all groups to pdf from the indesign program
To the folder where the indesign file and images are located.
(From a certain layer.)
I was able to create the same idea, but for a jpeg file.
I need export pdf and not jpeg
I am attaching a link to the jpeg script:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/tz6qnzniebqjn7w/export%20groups.js?dl=0
I would appreciate if someone would fix it for me in pdf
Thanks a lot!!!

The core idea to solve this is:
Add a new document with the page size of the group.
Duplicate the group to the new document and export to PDF from there.

The whole idea is to do the actions automatically.
There is a catalog with hundreds of pictures

Hi
Uwe Laubender
I wanted to ask if it is possible to add to the script you wrote
That the export will refer to the active layer, because if there are several layers with unrelated objects, it also exports them to jpeg.
Thanks!

OK
But I'm weak at programming and do not know where to combine it.
I'm still asking if you can fix the code
Thanks!

I published a new post about exporting to pdf
Of groups of objects with an image.
So far no one was able to send in the perfect solution.
Do you have any idea how to promote it?
