Behaviour of panels on Windows

I've been using InDesign 2020 for work on a Mac most of the time but currently I'm using it on a Windows machine and I've notived a strange behaviour of the panels, and I'm not sure if it's a bug or a feature. 😉

When I open a collapsed panel (like shown in my screenshot) and then click anywhere on my document, the panel immediately closes again, whereas on mac it stays open.

For example if I select an item, open swatches, click on a color to color my selected item, then select another item, select another tool, or just click anywhere else - it closes. So if I want to change the color again, I have to re-open it.

Is this a setting? On my Mac the panel would stay open until I close it or open another collapsed panel.

I'm using InDesign 15.0.2 on Windows 10 x64.

Thanks for your help!

In InDesign preferances, under the Interface tab,  check out the panel options.
