Black lines on indesign prints

Hi

I was wondering if you could help me, we have recently got a new printer and every time we print we have random black vertical lines in the text boxes as if some one has scribble out the text.

Have you considered returning the printer?

Hi Sam,

Sorry to hear about this issue. I would request if you can try Exporting file to PDF and then Print. Also, please confirm if you see the lines on PDF or not?

Also, do you see these scribble lines when printing from any other program?

If you do, it's probably the printer that's the issue (as Bob is suggesting).

No just in InDesign

It sounds like a printer problem. You should probably contact customer support for your printer.
