Blurred image when trying to create pdf

Hi  I wonder if someone can point me in the right direction . I have an issue with one of my images.  I am creating a Christmas card  which is compiled from a number of images .I have imported the images  into in design 15.1.2 everything looks ok. When I try to create a pdf one of the images is slightly blurred the charahcter on a whisk

 2nd illustration shows larger character as pdf blurred .anyone any ideas

What is the effective resolution of this image? Have you any missing link warning when you create the PDF?

Apologies for not coming back sooner , Resolved the issue  thanks for your advice  otherewise  no one would have got a card this xmas thanks again
