Hi There,

We have a InDesign server running CS5.5, which can process .indd files without any issues.

But the latest requirement is to process the .idml file.

Does CS5.5 can process/support .idml files?

Thanks in advance,

Siva.

It should but bear in mind that IDML is an interchange format for switching versions only, and the results always need careful, detailed checking. Given that it seems quite unsuitable for an automated workflow - unless the same IDML is used each time and has already been checked. You should NOT use it to set up a general workflow based around desktops using newer InDesign versions: versions should match across enterprise/production process.
