can't open indesign file

hi 

 

i can't open any indesign file, they have all become pdf

 

this happen after i uninstalled indesign 15.1.3 as my file won't open

 

i have reinstalled  indeisgn 15.1.3 and indesign 16.0

There have beeen quite a few reports of file associations getting messed up. They're not PDFs, they're just associated with Acrobat. Change the file association back to InDesign using your operating system, which you failed to include.

Hi Mohammed,

it would also help if you make all the file suffixes visible in your file system.

So it should become clear that your "pdf" files are not "pdf" files, but files with suffix "*.indd" that is associated with InDesign.
