Discovering the first bug in the latest update. Linked .ai images will not open in Illustrator to edit the original. Illustrator opens, but the file does not. I have to manually find them. Please fix ASAP. Thank you!

Kathy,

What is your OS version? What version of InDesign?

What work-arounds have you tried?

Windows 10. ID version 16.1. Just updated to most recent version yesterday. I've tried selecting Edit Original, clicking the pencil icon in the links dialog box, selecting Open With Illustrator. None worked. Now I just copy the path, find the file and open it manually in Illustrator. I use this feature a lot so it's very inconvenient and adds extra work time to find the linked files. Thanks for any help or advise.
