Hi Frankie,

how do you do this? Did you select an insertion point? Did you select the cell?

Hm. You tagged your post. What has this issue to do with an "InCopy workflow"?

Is there an error message if you try that?

Does the table cell go to overset?
Does the text frame holding the table goes to overset?

What's your version of InDesign?
What operating system?

Best show some screenshots. Of the grouped object. Of the table cell. Of the error message if there is one.

Or provide the group and the table with a document you put on Dropbox or a similar service. Mark the cell you want to paste the group inside. Post the downlaod link.

Regards,
Uwe Laubender
