Can't scale proportionally using the selection tool in In Design. On a Mac pressing cmd + shift. Reinstalled the program. Still the same. Anyone, any idea?

Is Control Panel > Auto-Fit button off or on?

Is Edit > Preferences > General > Content-Aware Fit > Make Content-Aware Fit the Default Frame Fitting Option off or on?

What happens if you switch one or both of these settings differently? Does it affect the problem?

Sometimes other applications interfere with the InDesign modifier keys. Try rebooting your computer and only opening up InDesign. Do the shortcuts work again as expected?
