Can use script to collect missing images into a new document?
Because of the need of work, I often use InDesign files between two computers.
Because the image is too large, the image is not packaged with the ID file, and eventually some images will be lost, but it must exist on another computer.
I think of a way to find the missing link of the graph, collect the new InDesign document, and then go to another computer to let InDesign search automatically.
The process of collecting missing images is a waste of time and repetition.
Can we use script to implement it?
Thanks~

If you go back to the other computer and open the document there, the links should update automatically, shouldn't they? There are some settings in the Preferences, in the File Handling tab. Maybe any of thoose are useful to you.

If you save your InDesign files and their assets into your user > Creative Cloud Files folder they will automatically sync to your subscription’s cloud account. If you log into the second computer using the same account the files will also sync to that computer.
See this helpx for file syncing workflows
