I'm struggeling to find an answer online. In Indesign I am trying to add a multiple page PDF as a pop-up window. So, there is a button saying click here for more info, and I want it to open up a seperate window, where you can read the information that is in a PDF of 8 pages. Is this possible and if so how can I achieve it?
You'd have to host it online, and your viewer would have to be online, but if that's OK you can do it with a simple web link.

Hope this helps,

Sorry for the delay. I didn't get an email reply when you wrote, or it fell down the email cracks to find electronic nirvana.
Where do you want the pop-up to appear from? If it's a button already on a webpage, I'd host it on the same site with a weblink from your Click Here button to open the PDF inside an HTML shell. It'll take a little bit of work, but it shouldn't be insurmountable.
Good luck,
Randy

Hi Randy, thanks for your tip. I think this is the best option for me.
Could you suggest a good site to host the PDF documents on?
Regards, Nancy

You can add a button that will take you to a page view. Attach the 8 page information sheet PDF to the base PDF and select the opened attachment as the button property destination (page view). You can include another button on the attachment that will bring you back to the base PDF page view.
You will need to view the PDF in Acrobat or Reader, and some people might be wary of a PDF with an attachment.
It's not a pop-up window, but it may be an acceptable work-around.
