Why do I feel like 2017 will be full of "why is my flash not working" when it's announced since a couple of years

The Beta CC2017 version supports it, and it worked....

Any workaround?

Now... if I wanted to create complex interfaces without using plugins and flash?

@pkahrel

Peter—Do you happen to know of any other CC 2017 changes the InDesign scripting community might want to know about?

Thanks,

Jeff

Question isn't if it works or not. Fact is that Flash support is gone and there is nothing you can expect from Adobe anytime soon about it so it's more than urgent to consider alternatives.

Now... if I wanted to create complex interfaces without using plugins and flash?

Well you have basically two options, try mastering ScriptUI or use HTML5 extensions.

The scriptUI does not support HTML5?

Where can I get serious and exhaustive documentation on how to make extensions?

The sentence is correct without the word "soon"

Dying, dying and in a flash dead.

Indeed, I was implying the king of UI Magic Marc can achieve with ScriptUI UI Components

Where can I get serious and exhaustive documentation on how to make extensions?

A Short Guide to HTML5 Extensions | Adobe Developer Connection

The Adobe Photoshop HTML Panels Development Course is available! | Photoshop, etc.

And no…no HTML5 with ScriptUI.
