I'm trying to create a clipping path enclosing several objects, so that the top rectangular object clips all the objects beneath including part way through 2 text boxes so that only a few words show.

1 Top: magenta rectangular clipping box

2 Cyan text boxs either side

3 Yellow and white central text

4 Bottom: Blue fill box

I realise that this might prove impossible in ID and, in the end, I might have to do it in Illustrator but all thoughts are welcome.

Group the elements you want to clip.

Copy it.

Create a new graphic frame.

Paste Into.

Resize your graphic frame to crop where needed.

What a solution Eugene – never would have thought of that. Thank you.
