Color blocks on converted .indd

Hello,

I installed Indesign 2020 andwhen I opened some .indd from my 2018 version, these color lines appear and I can't make them disappear, unless by deleting all elements.

I figured out the bug came when I underline my typos. When I delete the underline, color block are disappearing.

This is very confusing. Is there a way of resolving this bug?

You might try restoring your InDesign preferences and caches:

Hi Mariama5CE5,

I see three workarounds for resolving this:

[1] Do not use a variable font for text formatting.

[2] Find a different way to underline your text. Maybe strikethrough with an minus-offset will help.

[3] Use a newer version of InDesign where the bug is fixed:

The bug is with InDesign 2020 version 15.1.2.226 and was fixed with InDesign 2021.
