Color changes during scrolling

Hello together,

I'm a little bit confused. During scrolling in my InDesign document, the color changes from normal to really wrong. But it only shows the wrong color it isn't saving it if I export or anything like that.

Does anyone know that problem?

InDesign v16.0

macOS v10.15.7

Are there any other informations needed?

After restart inDesign or enable/disable soft proof it's fine again until I begin to scroll.

thanks & regards

Denis

Hi Denis,

my assumption: while scrolling rendering the color is slower than drawing the elements on spreads.

So I do not think this is a real issue. Just a temporarily one.

Also: Try to turn off InDesign's GPU feature.

Hi Uwe,

you are right, if I change from View/Preview on GPU to Preview on CPU it works. But that sounds for me like a bug. Because CPU is real slower than GPU I normally don't wanna use it. I bought a good GPU to have faster performance and now it doesn't work. Is there any solution? Didn't had that problem on my 8 year older macbook.

I have a AMD Radeon Pro 5500M with 8GB in a 16" MacBook.

regards

Denis
