Hi,

I have incredibly strange behaviour happening. I have document of 150+ pages with lots of placed images and text. When editing the document all types of content (seemingly randomly) will delete itself completely or remove content from the frame. Some text boxes or image frames then become un-selectable. Content also disappears when exporting to pdf. Any help is appreciated!

Which version of InDesign and OS?

Which type of PDF and PDF viewer ?

When you check the Links panel and preflight are any issues noted?

In any case it would be worth checking with your commercial printer which type of PDF they want. PDF/X-4 is the recommended type usually these days.
