Hi Everyone,

Recently, my computer lost power unexpectedly, and the InDesign file I had open at the time seems to have corrupted during that process. Now whenever I try to open the file I receive the following message:

"Cannot open "Filename.indd" The file "Filename.indd" is damaged and cannot be recovered (Error code: 5)."

I have reached out/sent my file to the various email addresses listed by Adobe staff on this forum for help, but have not yet heard back. I'm hoping that another user may have help or advice?

Thanks!

The only advice I can offer is, the irritating one of, backup your files frequently.
