Cross reference with the first few words of the paragraph

I would like to create a cross reference that has the paragraph number and the first few words of the paragraph. I do not have a punctuation mark or anything that I can use to delineate where you want it to stop. Is there a way for me to define the cross reference to include the first 5 words or something to that effect?
