I've always used Adobe Paragraph Composer, I have some files that end up translated to character languages and have to change to World-Ready Paragraph Composer (WRPC). Is there any reason why I shouldnt default to WRPC? are there any issues using this with standard English files?

I would only use the World-Ready composer when you have to.

It's 90% ok, but definitely not as good as the regular Paragraph Composer.

It has all sorts of weird bugs (for instance, it doesn't support both types of non-breaking spaces - variable and fixed) and is also a little slower.

It's definitely useable, and I use it all the time because I need to, even for entire books.

But if you don't need it, the regular one gets more attention and is better.

That would be my advice.
