Cursor lag after installing InDesign 2020 latest update (15.0.2)

I have made the most recent InDesign update (yesterday) and since then I'm having trouble working in InDesign files. If I need to update text or the like, it takes forever for the curser to settle where necessary. It is very difficult to work this way and I don't know what to do. At first I thought it was due to the 2 InDesign editions - 2019/2020.
