Dead hard drive - can't deactivate CC

I've had CC installed on my 2 personal computers, a desktop and a laptop. It seems (to be verified) that the laptop's hard drive has died. Obviously I cannot deactive the CC installation on that system. When I get the drive repaced and reinstall CC there, will I have a problem when I go to activate (since it is already active on 2 systems)? I'm sure that I'm not the only one that's had this problem. What is the procedure to handle this?

If that hard drive is dead, then there is no way the Creative Cloud will see that device as being an active CC user. I don't you'll have a problem installing and activating another computer. The CC will only be looking for too many active devices at the same time using your Adobe ID, and if it found more than two, would ask which one you wanted to deactivate.
